On April 13, Cami's husband Mark whips up a great breakfast and then packs up for a day at Santa Monica Beach. Cami's 26th gift is to pick up a handful of pretty, pebble-size shells to put on her alter at home. She sees a 4-year old girl building a sand castle and starts chatting with her and her mom. She asks the girl (named Rachel) if she likes shells, who of course does, and she gives Rachel the shells to decorate her sand castle. It is awesome to see how completely tickled the Rachel is to receive some simple shells.
Today I decide to give a stealth gift to my son Alex. On Tuesday night, I got a Shaq bobblehead doll at the Cavs game. All last year, Alex was my Cavs buddy, going to the games with me most often of all my three boys. Plus, his bedroom is decorated in the Cavaliers theme including a LeBron Fathead. So, I put the bobblehead on the nightstand next to his alarm clock, where it shouldn't take long too find. Wonder what his reaction will be when he finds it?!
