Gift 23 ~ Special Shell / Holiday Spirit Drive

 On April 10, Cami gives her 23rd gift to Dr. Kim. The gift is a small, coral-colored conch shell and an array of herbal teas packed into a small paper shopping bag with some cheerful lavender and green tissue paper. Dr. Kim looks thrilled to receive Cami's gift and notes what a graceful recipient she is.

My gift is to spread a little holiday cheer to those less fortunate. My cash donate goes to the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Holiday Spirit campaign, which raised $219,660 last year. "Every little bit helps." Our local newspaper can have such an impact, positive or negative, on our region and our people. So today I choose to support this year's campaign as it is a shining example of what is right with a company that has such an influence and is choosing to use it to help those in need. Like my new friend who reminded me of ths Starfish story at dinner the other night, "you can't save them all!" I know that, but if we all work together we are bound to save more than just one!
